Glencar Inn Saturday Division One 

Donegal Town Reserves 1 – 3 Oldtown Celtic 

Oldtown Celtic emerged victorious in the battle of the league’s unbeaten teams at Hospital Field. A sharp start saw Oldtown go into half-time with a commanding three-goal lead. Donegal Town fought back in the second half, with Niko Dominik heading home from a Joe Campbell cross, but Oldtown held firm to secure the points. 

Old Orchard Saturday Division Two 

Castlefin Celtic Reserves 0 – 2 Cappry Rovers Reserves 

Cappry Rovers secured three points in a game where Castlefin missed several clear chances. David Carr opened the scoring early on, and Cormac Roarty’s breakaway goal in the second half doubled the lead. Castlefin hit the woodwork twice but failed to find the net. 

Fintown Harps AFC 6 – 0 Drumoghill F.C. Reserves 

Fintown Harps ran riot in a dominant first-half display. Jamie Cranley scored his first senior goal, with Kieran Gallagher netting a hat-trick. Shane McDevitt and Peter McGlynn also added to the tally. Despite no goals in the second half, Fintown had done enough to secure a resounding victory. 

Letterkenny Rovers Reserves 5 – 0 Glenea United Reserves 

Letterkenny Rovers delivered a commanding second-half performance to thrash Glenea United. Goals from Keelan Dunleavy, Oran Winston, Conor O’Donnell (2), and Adam Murphy sealed the win, with O’Donnell’s interplay with Murphy standing out as a highlight. 

 Finn Travel Saturday Division Three 

Gweedore United Reserves 1 – 5 Bonagee United Reserves 

Bonagee United dominated proceedings at Carrickboyle despite a spirited fight from Gweedore. A penalty by Connor Stewart and goals from Bryan Drum, Aidan McLaughlin (2), and Caolan McGarrigle ensured a comfortable victory for the visitors. 

 

Ulster Junior Shield 

Strand Rovers 0 – 0 Sea Rovers (Sea Rovers won 1-4 on penalties) 

A hard-fought contest ended in a penalty shootout, with Sea Rovers emerging victorious. Both sides had chances, but stout defending and excellent goalkeeping kept the scores level through normal and extra time. 

Brian McCormick Sports Premier Division 

Swilly Rovers 0 – 4 St. Catherines 

St. Catherines claimed a dominant win at Swilly Park. Josh Maxwell scored twice, while Paul O’Hare and Daniel Breslin added to the tally. Swilly struggled without key players, managing few chances against a well-organised opposition. 

 

Temple Domestic Appliances Division One 

Lagan Harps 1 – 3 Glenea United 

Glenea United’s strong second-half showing secured victory after Lagan were reduced to ten men. Goals from PJ Doogan, Calvin Murray, and Darren McGeever overturned Lagan’s early lead, with Kyle Martin impressing for the hosts despite the loss. 

Cappry Rovers 1 – 1 Milford United 

Both sides had early chances, with Joey Cullen scoring for Milford and Jack Long equalising for Cappry from the penalty spot. A close second half saw Milford miss a late penalty, ensuring the points were shared. 

 

Donegal Physiotherapy and Performance Centre Division Two 

Drumoghill F.C. 0 – 3 Convoy Arsenal Convoy

Arsenal extended their lead at the top of the table with goals from Gary Brolly, Aiden Boal, and an own goal. Drumoghill controlled much of the game but failed to capitalise on their chances, allowing Convoy to secure a clinical win. 

Kerrykeel ’71 F.C. 1 – 2 Whitestrand United 

Michael Sweeney’s brace secured a deserved win for Whitestrand in a closely contested match. Kevin Loughrey scored Kerrykeel’s equaliser from the penalty spot, but the hosts struggled to match Whitestrand’s composure. 

Deele Harps 3 – 0 Dunkineely Celtic 

Deele Harps earned a convincing victory with goals from Conor Catterson, Jordan Duffy, and Scott Macbeth. Dunkineely’s defence worked hard, but Deele’s early intensity proved too much to handle.
