Zach McAuley signs a professional contract at Institute
Donegal teenager Zach McAuley has signed a professional contract at NIFL Championship club Institute.
The Lifford lad made his senior debut in September and has been handed a two-and-a-half-year deal by ‘Stute.
“Zach’s contract is a fitting reward for the promise and the impact he has shown since joining Stute,” Institute manager Kevin Deery said.
Defender McAuley played against Ballinamallard in the North West Cup back in September and has shown good promise.
The 17-year-old has made three league appearances this season.
Institute Academy Manager Marty Smith said: “I would like to congratulate Zach on signing his first professional contract. It’s a proud moment for Zach and his family.
