Carn FC 1 Buncrana Hearts 0
Carn got the first chance on 8 minutes when Cian Burke broke on the right rounded a defender and laid it off for Liam McWeeney who shot wide from fifteen yards.
Carn pressed again after Michael McDermott made a great pass from midfield to Mark Doherty but his effort from twenty yards was also off target.
Buncrana replied with Aaron McDaid crossing for Bart Wieslowski who shot wide when well placed.
Buncrana had another chance after Liam Quigley evaded a tackle and crossed it for Coalan Dohertywho headed wide.
Buncrana went ahead In first half injury time after a Calvin Gallagher free kick on the edge of the area found Bart Wesolowski who shot high to the top of the net from fifteen yards.
Carn started the second half well with Liam McWeeney finding Mark Doherty but his effort was off-target. Buncrana responded and when Eoin Murphy found Liam Jordan his low shot was well saved by Kyle Harkin.
Carn kept pressing and when Callum Kelly crossed for substitute Cade Cooke he was unable to hi the target.
The visitors suffered a blow then on 84 minutes when top scorer Wesolowski was red carded.
Deep into injury time the home side almost salvaged a point after Mark Doherty's cross came off a defender on the edge of the area to Lorcan Bradley whose first time effort flashed narrowly past the post.
Cockhill Celtic 4 Redcastle United 0
In windy conditions Cockhill opened the scoring on 6minuites when, after Garbhan Friel and Jay Bradley combined down the right, Conor Graham took possession at the edge of the D before firing low past Josh McConnellogue.
Friel headed over a Fionn McClure corner before Redcastle fashioned a chance of their own when a right wing corner dropped to Darragh McConway but a vital touch from Joshua Clifford denied him a clear strike.
Stephen Duffy doubled the home side's advantage when he sidestepped a defender and slotted home after Friel stepped over a James Bradley pass.
Shaun Curran then for the visitors forced a good save from Daniel Houghton in the Cockhill goal in a rare foray forward just before half time.
The second half was dominated by Cockhill but clear chances weren't forthcoming with Redcastle resolute in their defending.
Damian Duffy, Stephen Duffy and Fionn McClure forced good saves from McConnellogue before two late goals added gloss to the scoreline.
Firstly Jay Bradley made it three with a clever turn and finish before Liam Grant completed the scoring with a close range header after Odhran O'Brien Daly headed back a Damian Duffy free kick.
Clonmany Shamrocks 4 Illies Celtic 0
Clonmany started well and opened the scoring on 5 minutes after Conor Dohertys cross from the right was met by a first time effort from Aaron Porter low past Johnathan Noone and into the far corner.
With the wind the home side dominated the opening half and Porter flicked on for Terence Doherty whose attempted lob landed on the roof of the net.
Noone then produced a superb save to deny a Porter effort which seemed destined for the top corner. Noone again made another save low to his left from a Jamie McKinney effort .
Illies created a few corners in the opening half and from one of those by Paul Doherty the ball found Jamie McDaid whose header was deflected wide. Clonmany then put themselves in a great position with wo goals in as many minutes.
Firstly a Ryan McColgan free was only half cleared to the edge of the area where McKinney fired low to the bottom corner.
Then within a minute Porter squared from the left to Jason Devlin on the edge of the area and he fired in off the far post giving Noone no chance. Clonmany had the final chance of the half with a Porter corner finding the unmarked Paddy Doherty whose header looped over the bar.
The wind died away after a shower in the second half and Clonmany continued on top. Jason Devlin fed McKinney whose cross found Terence Doherty whose snapshot went just wide.
The home side made it four nil midway through the half after McKinney fed Doherty inside the area and he laid the ball off for Porter to place the ball low inside Noones left hand post.
The home side had the final chance of the game after Porter cut inside from the left evaded a defender but shot just wide.
HML Division One
Cockhill Youths 4 Rashenny FC 0
The league leaders continued their fine form with a comprehensive win over a Rashenny side struggling at the foot of the table.
Darragh McDermott had an early effort blocked by a defender before they opened the scoring on 20 minutes from an Oisin Crawford corner which was met with a powerful Paul Mullan header to leave the home side ahead at the break.
Rashenny had a couple of half chances before the break with David McLaughlin shoting just past the post and Damien Friel firing over the bar from the edge of the area.
Five minutes into the second half Jack McDaid split the Rashenny defence for Danny McDaid to run onto and slip low past Sean Friel .
On the hour McDaid added his second and Cockhills third with a superb finish from the edge of the area. Conor McDaid sealed the victory with a stunning volley from the edge of the area to the top corner.
McDermott had the final chance of the game for the home side but fired over the bar from point blank range.
Carn Youths 1 Moville Celtic 2
Reversed to Moville Carn got off to a dream start when they opened the scoring in the first minute of the game.
Tiernan Diver broke on the left and rounded the defender before seeing his cross deflect off a defender and past Stephen Teles in the home goal.
Moville had a great chance when Michael McNaught rounded a defender and squared it for Oisin Lynch who shot wide from fourteen yards.
Moville had another chance to equalize midway through the half after Norbert Indyka crossed for Michael McNaught who failed to hit the target from twelve yards.
Moville’s pressure paid off when they equalized minutes later when Conor Lafferty broke on the left wing and crossed it for Michael McNaught who drove a powerful shot to the right hand corner of the net from sixteen yards.
Carn tried to hit back after Matthew McGoldrick made a great pass from midfield to Dayton Cooke who rounded the defender but fired wide from twelve yards.
Moville went ahead four minutes into the second half after a Michael McNaught cross from the right found Conor Lafferty who shot a high shot past Kyle Harkin .
Carn replied and Shay Mcdaid made a great run from midfield beating the defender before laying the ball off for Dayton Cooke who shot high to the right and wide from outside the 18 yard box.
Moville went close at the other end when Decky Lynch made a great run on the right wing rounded the defender and squared it off for Conor Lafferty who drove a powerful low shot to the right corner of the net but was pushed away past the post by Kyle Harkin.
Carn had the final chance of the game after Mark Scott went on a great run into the area before seeing his shot saved by Stephen Telles in the Moville goal.
Glengad United 1 Buncrana Res 1
With the wind in their favour the home side had the first opportunity on 9 minutes after Ryan Mclaughlin found Oran Doherty on the edge of the area but he shot just over the bar.
Buncrana replied with Jerry Gill advancing on the left and crossing for Ryan McHugh whose shot shaved the outside of the post.
The home side broke the deadlock midway through the first half when Seamus and Joe Doherty combined for the latter to cross to Oran Doherty to sidefoot low past Eoghan O Doherty from eight yards.
But the visitors levelled in the 39th minute with James Downey feeding Gill on the left and he cut inside a defender to finish superbly low past Ronan Lafferty.
Glengad had the final chance of the half after Oran and Joe Doherty combined for McLaughlin whose effort was brilliantly saved by O’Doherty.
There was no goalmouth action until the 75th minute when McHughs free kick from twenty yards was superbly tipped round the post by Lafferty.
Glengad responded on 85 minutes when John McDaid fed Caolan McColgan who crossed for Oran Doherty and his first time volley was brilliantly saved by O Doherty.
Glengad pushed hard and had the final chance after a long ball from Oran Doherty released Joe Doherty on the left who advanced into the area but was crowded out with penalty appeals waved away as both sides settled for a point.
Inishowen Engineering Division Two A
Redcastle Res 2 Illies Res 5
Swithced to the Illies venue Brendan McDaid’s side took full advantage and took the lead on 11 minutes after Caelan Whoriskey fed Conor Doherty on the left hand side of the area and he drilled low past Michael McCole from twelve yards.
They doubled their lead when Shane Devlin cooly converted a penalty after Jamie McCauley was upended inside the area.
It got better for the home side when Conor Doherty broke free in midfield and fired to the roof of the net to leave Illies three nil ahead at the break.
On the restart they added a fourth goal in the 55th minute after Liam O Connor evaded two defenders and fired to the roof of the net from thirty yards.
Redcastle rallied and after a mix up in the Illies defence Darren Harkin raced clear and pulled the ball back to Gary Kelly to slot home.
But Illies responded and added a fifth goal when Whoriskey advanced into the area and squared the ball for Neil Moran to slot home from eight yards.
Redcastle got a late consolation then with Harkin beating the offside trap and racing clear to shoot powerfully to the roof of the net.
Sea Rovers 6 Carrowmena FC 0
Rovers began with the wind at there backs and they certainly took I full adcantage in the opening half.
Carrowmenagh struggled to get it out of there half and a few corners for the home side early on produced little. Another Rovers corner well put in and after Joey Holland was taken down in the box Andrew Gallagher converted to open the scoring on 12 minutes.
Minutes later Conor Mc Closkeys close effort put the home side two up. After 15 minutes another Rovers corner was not dealt with by the visitors defence and Mathew Mooney 3scored from close range.
After good play in midfield Daniel Gallagher put Mathew Mooney through to finish low past Ciaran Bonner . The home side added a fifth goal before the interval with Daniel Gallagher firing a superb twenty yards free to the roof of the net.
A strong start by Rovers saw some fine play by Connor Mc Closkey to Andrew Gallagher who took it down well and left the Carrowmenagh keeper no chance to increase the home sides lead.
Despite the wind on the backs Carrowmenagh failed to create any good chances. Rovers also created little after there opening goal.
A late penalty for Carrowmenagh gave them the chance to pull one back but Cathal Crumlish saw his shot go just wide of the post.
Inishowen Engineering Division Two B
Dunree Res 0 Rashenny YOUTH 3
The visitors began well with Shea Grant denied by a fine save from Oran Doherty in the home goal.
At the other end a Patrick Doherty free was well saved by Sam Coyle. Rashenny responded with Kyle McGilloway unleashing an effort which was deflected wide off a defender.
The visitors opened the scoring on 38 minutes when Grant broke through the home defence and rounded Doherty to slot home.
Rashenny begam the second half well and when Grant raced through in a one on one keeper Doherty came out on top. Doherty unleashed a powerful effort but again keeper Doherty made a superb save.
The visitors did double their lead on 74 minutes when James Doherty found space inside the area and finished well to the bottom corner.
They continued on top and Abdul Al Rasheed had an effort which Doherty again saved well. But the visitors sealed things late on when Grant headed home when left unmarked following a corner.
Carn Res 1 QPS Youth 4
QPS Res played with the aid of a strong wind in the opening half and dominated play in the first twenty minutes.
The Point opened the scoring in the tenth minute with a powerful shot from outside the area by Sean Gallagher and increased their lead five minutes later when Oisin Lynch fired to the bottom corner from twenty yards.
The third goal was an easy finish from close range by Ronan Mailey after the Carn keeper parried another shot from distance.
The second half was a much closer affair and Carn Res pulled a goal back with a fine strike by Shay Fallon from outside the area on sixty minutes.
Tiernan Cantwell then went close to a second for Carn when he was played in behind the Point defence but was denied by a good stop from the keeper.
The scoring was completed in the 80th minute after Sean Gallagher got his second of the game for QPS when he finished well from inside the six-yard box following a corner.
Culdaff Res 1 Moville Res 0
Reversed to the Bayfield Moville had the elements in their favour and had the first opportunity when a Billy Doherty powerful effort crashed off the bar.
A good break from Culdaff at the other end saw Eugene McLaughlin unleash a twenty yards effort which Vernon Kelly saved well low to his right. Moville responded and Jay Gillen fired narrowly wide from the edge of the area.
Approaching half time Culdaff were unlucky after Jack Curley released McLaughlin on the left and his effort crashed off the post with Kelly beaten.
Despite the windy conditions both sides tried to play but the deadlock remained. Dermot Diver went close for Culdaff with a curling cross which just missed the far post. Culdaff then took the lead on 67 minutes after good work by Manus Doherty released McLaughlin and he fired home with his left foot from the edge of the area.
McLaughlin almost doubled his sides lead then with a left footed effort from inside the area which flashed past the post. Culdaff saw the game out to clinch a narrow win.
Rashenny RES 1 Glengad Res 2
With the wind in their backs the home side dominated the opening half but the visitors defended stoutly for the most part.
Nathan Doherty had the first opportunity for Rashenny on 12 minutes but his low effort was blocked by the legs of Ronan Lafferty in the Glengad goal.
Two minutes later the home side broke the deadlock after Dohertys low shot from just inside the area crashed off the post but then off the keeper and into the net. Doherty then unleashed a powerful free kick which Lafferty saved well.
The final chance of the half for the home side came on the stroke of half time with Callum Doherty pouncing on a defensive slip but his effort from a wide position was turned round the post by Lafferty.
But Glengad with the elements equalized in the opening minute after a long ball was not dealt with and Michael Doherty poked home from six yards.
Then a Jamie Toland long range effort clipped the bar on the way over. Glengad continued to press and Toland headed wide at the back post after a Mclaughlin free.
Substitute Nathan McConalogue saw a low effort saved by Conor McGonagle before the same player fired wide from outside the area with the goal gaping.
McConalogue was unlucky with a lopping shot which came off the post but eventually he got the winner with a free kick to the net from the angle of the area.
