Neeve Doherty has signed for Strabane Athletic
Neeve Doherty has signed with Strabane Athletic ahead of the new 2025 season.
The Inishowen goalkeeper has plenty of playing experience having played with Illies Celtic ladies, Buncrana Hearts and Cockhill Celtic in the past.
More recently, she’s been between the posts for Derry City, Sion Swifts and Maiden City.
A statement on Strabane’s social media read: “We are glad to announce that we have added goalkeeper Neeve Doherty to the ladies squad for the season ahead.
“Neeve will join our current goalkeeper Shannon Lynch for the season ahead which will really strengthen the squad and aid the team throughout the Division 1 season.
“Neeve has impressed well in the preseason games so far and we look forward to seeing her develop further this season”.
