Keri Loughrey has signed for Linfield
Keri Loughrey scored a debut goal on Friday night as Linfield defeated Lisburn Ladies.
The Buncrana woman netted in a 4-1 win in the V-Bet League Cup at the Bluebell Stadium.
Loughrey moved to Linfield having previously been at Sligo Rovers.
Cora Chambers scored twice and Eve Reilly netted the other as Linfield led 3-0 at half-time before Loughrey, a Republic of Ireland underage international, added a fourth.
Last season, Loughrey played 26 times for Sligo Rovers and was named as the Player’s Player of the Year at the Bit O’Red.
Loughrey was joined in the Blues XI by Raphoe native Zoe McGlynn, who also switched from Sligo Rovers last summer.

McGlynn has also lined out for Central Connecticut State University in the United States, winning three Conference titles and reaching the NCAA finals during a four-year spell Stateside, and had spells at Raphoe Town, Lagan Harps and Sion Swifts.
