Buncrana Hearts are on their way to Torremolinos
Buncrana Hearts are heading off to the Costa del Sol to take a well-earned break after a fantastic season that saw them crowned Premier League champions.
But it’s not all rest and relaxation for Gary Duffy’s side as next Saturday morning the lads will still look to contribute to ‘All Roads Lead to Buncrana’ 10K run as they race through the streets of Torremolinos.
This effort will hopefully give the actual event, scheduled for the following day, back home Sunday, June 1, an early boost.
Proceeds from ‘All Roads Lead to Buncrana’ go to Crumlin Children’s Hospital.
The Buncrana Hearts run in Torremolinos was the idea of team sponsor Gerard Doherty and the players are more than happy to take on one last challenge before the season officially wraps up.
