Bonagee ladies storm to 9-a-side Women's League title

Bonagee United ladies

The Bonagee United ladies were crowned champions of the Donegal Women's League 9-a-side league on Monday night.

The Dry Arch Park side ran out 3-0 winners in their penultimate league game away to Lagan Harps, thanks to a brace from Natalie McFadden and a goal from Claire Doherty.

Bonagee have had an impressive record in the league, winning all seven games and scoring 27 goals, but the most impressive part is the fact that they are yet to concede a goal in those seven matches.

They will end their season at home to Deele Harps in Goose Green on Thursday night, where they will be presented with the league title.

Keadue Rovers and Fanad United will battle it out on the final day for second place, with the home side Keadue needing just a point to confirm themselves as runners-up.
