Finn Harps stalwart Tommy Dullaghan was commemorated on Friday night as he retired as a steward.

Tommy has served the club for 50 years, from board member to bus driver, before three decades manning the gate at the Finn Park tunnel.

Dullaghan spent half a century volunteering for the Finn Park side in many capacities, but he would be best recognised at the main gate as a steward.

He was presented with an award on Friday night at the final game of the season by Finn Harps Commercial Officer Aidan Campbell, as the Harps lost 4-3 to UCD.

“On Friday, everyone at Finn Park said thank you to our own Tommy Dullaghan, who is retiring after 50 years of service to Finn Harps.

“Over the seasons, Tommy became part and parcel of match nights as the familiar face stewarding the entrance to the clubhouse.

“Thank you for everything, Tommy, and we look forward to seeing you in 2026 supporting your beloved Harps.”
