The club had recently upgraded the dugouts at their home venue but with evidence to hand, they have set a 48-hour window for the culprits to come forward

Buncrana Hearts were the subject of an act of vandalism on Friday night as excessive damage was done to the home dugout at Castle Park.

However, the club has now revealed on social media that the perpetrators have not only been caught on CCTV but also are clearly identifiable. 

Last night, extensive damage was caused to our home dugout in Castle Park. This act of vandalism was particularly disappointing as the dugouts were upgraded in October at a considerable cost to the club. 

“A member of the club is aware of who the perpetrators were and was also caught on CCTV. 

“We are now giving you 48 hours to come forward, otherwise we will hand footage over to An Garda Siochana”.
