Buncrana Hearts have added to their squad ahead of the return from the winter break, with the signings of Kevin Jordan and Caolan McConnell.

The reigning Inishowen Premier Division champions have added former Finn Harps man Kevin Jordan, who has made the move from Strabane Athletic in the Northern Irish third tier.

A Buncrana native, the 22-year-old made his Finn Harps in 2023 and played three seasons in the First Division before joining Strabane under Raymond Foy.

McConnell joins the Castle Park side from Letterkenny Rovers, winning the Donegal Junior League Premier Division, Ulster Cup and Brian McCormick Cup last year.

Both men are eligible to make their debuts for Gary Duffy’s men on Sunday against Glengad United.

The Hearts haven’t replicated the form of last year so far this year, as they sit on 14 points after nine games, 13 off rivals Cockhill Celtic who still have a 100% record.
