Finn Harps manager Kevin McHugh
Finn Harps have announced they will play Galway United in a friendly this Sunday at Finn Park.
The Harps will host the Premier Division side at 2pm on Sunday in a quickly arranged friendly following the postponement of their match with Derry City, which was due to be played on Saturday.
The match in Ballybofey will mark the first meeting between the pair since the sad passing of Ollie Horgan.
Horgan, who passed away in August of 2025, was Assistant Manager at Galway for two years up until the summer of last year, and was Finn Harps manager for nine years, keeping them competitive in the Premier Division.

The friendly was only announced on Friday, following the late postponement of the scheduled North West Derby, which was called off at the request of Derry.
