Ireland and Everton captain Seamus Coleman
Everton produced a dramatic late turnaround to claim a 2-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage, lifting David Moyes’ side to eighth in the Premier League and within two points of rivals Liverpool.
Moyes, who was serving a touchline ban, watched on from the stands alongside club captain Seamus Coleman as the Toffees looked set for defeat following Vitalii Mykolenko’s first-half own goal. The setback had Fulham in front heading into the final 15 minutes in west London.

But Everton rallied strongly late on, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall drawing the visitors level before a calamitous own goal from Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno sealed the comeback and sent the Toffees climbing the table.
Coleman is currently battling his way back to fitness and hopes to be fit in time for the Republic of Ireland’s crucial World Cup play-off clash with Czech Republic in Prague in March.
