Three Finn Harps players have been named in the League of Ireland First Division Team of the Week after their win over UCD.

Goalscorers Shaunie Bradley and Conor Tourish were named in the team, along with debutant Alex Fanle.

Fahan native Bradley opened the scoring in the 2-1 win over the Students, and set up Letterkenny man Conor Tourish for a superb volley, worthy of winning any game, to double the lead.

Ciaran Behan got one back for UCD, but Finn Harps were worthy winners.

It also marked a first competitive appearance for Alex Fanle as he was also included in the team.

The 21-year-old French defender impressed against Sligo Rovers in pre-season before getting injured, but came back into the starting side for the win at Finn Park.

Former Finn Harps striker Hans Mpongo was also named in the team, after scoring for Cork City in their 4-1 win away to Wexford, with his teammate and former Republic of Ireland striker Sean Maguire also named in the team after hitting a brace.

Cork City boss Barry Robson was named Manager of the Week.

Finn Harps make the long journey away to Cobh Ramblers this Friday night in round three of the First Division.
