Sam Todd scored the only goal of the game as Bohemians won away to Waterford to stay top of the League of Ireland Premier Division.

The Carndonagh man’s looping header from a Dayle Rooney corner went in off the post on 18 minutes for the only goal of the game in the RSC.

Bohemians sit top of the Premier Division after five games with 13 points and on a run of four wins in a row.

Elsewhere, Ronan Boyce was a late substitute as St Patrick’s Athletic won away to Shelbourne.

Stephen Kenny’s side were pegged back from 2-0 up after Ryan Edmondson’s brace as Harry Wood and John Martin scored for the hosts, but Max Mata’s added-time winner gave the visitors the win, with Ramelton man Boyce coming on in the final minutes as they moved up to second place.

It was Ferry’s first goal after four appearances for the Lissywollen side, having played for Treaty United in 2025.
