Referee's report awaited as spate of red cards dished out in firey Donegal League match

After an incident in the Donegal Junior League match between Rathmullan Celtic and Castlefin Celtic, the Donegal Junior League Executive are awaiting the referee's report before any further action may be taken

Donegal League Executive awaits referee's report after five red cards in match

The Executive of the Donegal Junior League is awaiting the referee’s report after an incident occurred in a Sunday Division One match, which saw five red cards in total shown to both sides.

The game involving Rathmullan Celtic and Castlefin Celtic saw tempers flare in the second half of the end of the contest, with players from both sides involved in the incident,  three red cards were eventully shown to Rathmullan and two to Castlefin.

The Donegal League confirmed to DonegalLive that they are awaiting the match report from referee Ryan Carlin, and the incident will be dealt with by the disciplinary committee, who will ascertain the necessary course of action.

Rathmullan won the match at the Flagpole Field 1-0, with Daniel Wojciun scoring the winner.
