Catherine Grier hit two of Ireland’s goals in their 5-1 win over the Netherlands in Group A at the European Deaf Futsal Championships in Croatia.

The Ramelton woman scored the last two goals in the win, while Donegal Town’s Teagan O’Reilly also featured in the win over the Dutch as they sit top of the group after two games.

Natalie O’Brien opened the scoring for Ireland, and Rebekah Grant made it 2-0 before Grier set up Laura McGuinn for a third before the break.

The Netherlands got one back before Grier got her first of the game, and she quickly doubled her tally to confirm the win.
