Letterkenny Rovers hosted an Under-7 blitz, with local teams and Liverpool Finn Harps competing in the competition.

Letterkenny Rovers, Kilmacrennan Celtic, Glen Rovers, and Liverpool Finn Harps competed in very challenging weather conditions at Leckview Park.

All teams showed amazing skill, teamwork, and determination throughout. The standard of football on display was brilliant to watch, and the smiles and enthusiasm from the players said it all.

A proud day for Letterkenny Rovers to host such a great event, bringing clubs together and creating lasting memories for everyone involved.

A spokesperson for the Letterkenny club added: “A big thank you to Gamerz Heaven for providing shelter and entertainment during the breaks – it was hugely appreciated by players and supporters alike.

“And finally, a massive thanks to Century Complex, a fantastic partner to the club, for looking after all the teams with soft play and food after the football. A perfect way to round off a brilliant day.

“Well done again to everyone involved – a fantastic occasion from start to finish.

"Liverpool Finn Harps were formed when Finn Harps qualified decades ago for the UEFA Cup to play Everton, and while over in Liverpool, played a pub team, which to this day, from that occasion, formed and carried on as Liverpool Finn Harps.

“They travelled from the UK to attend Friday night’s first division clash between Finn Harps and Cork City and then played some great matches at Leckview Park. Marking a full circle moment for Donegal football.”
