Cross channel watch: Stephen strikes for Southend

Stephen McLaughlin

Stephen McLaughlin scored again as Southend United came from behind to draw with Shrewsbury Town in League One on Saturday.

The Clonmany man has been in brilliant form for Southend this season and his goal helped ensure his team avoided defeat at home to the side who are bottom of the table.

Also in League One, Conrad Logan was again among the subs as Rochdale beat Oldham 1-0.

Letterkenny's Dale Gorman started again in midfield as Stevenage won 2-1 at Mansfield Town - the club where Dale's father Anthony spent a couple of seasons as a teenager.

In the Premiership, Seamus Coleman is expected to feature for Everton on Sunday in their game at home to West Ham. Shay Given's Stoke City don't play until Monday night, at home to Swansea.
