Donegal’s young rugby stars showcase their skills at Ravenhill
The Tir Chonaill and Letterkenny mini rugby team played under the lights at Ravenhill recently as part of the half time entertainment during the Ulster versus Connacht match.

The Tir Chonaill and Letterkenny mini rugby team played under the lights at Ravenhill recently as part of the half time entertainment during the Ulster versus Connacht match.

Also present were female players from Finn Valley, Donegal Town and Letterkenny.

At each Ulster Rugby fixture, mini and youth rugby teams from across the Province are invited to participate in ‘Centra Half Time’.

This initiative, sponsored by Centra and its independent retailers, provides aspiring young players with the fantastic opportunity to play on the Ravenhill pitch with encouragement from thousands of fans.

The PRO12 clash also provided Tir Chonaill and Letterkenny minis with the opportunity to meet Ulster Rugby stars Mike McComish, Michael Allen and Stuart Olding, as well as everyone’s favourite mascot, Sparky.
