Coláiste Ailigh crowned Ulster U-17 champions with win over Rosses

Coláiste Ailigh celebrate their victory at Letterkenny Community Centre this afternoon

Coláiste Ailigh were crowned as Ulster Junior B U-17 Girls champions this afternoon following a commanding performance against Rosses Community School Dungloe at Letterkenny's Community Centre.

The side from Letterkenny were two goals to the good at half-time, with Erin Doherty, the team captain opening the scoring on five minutes before adding another on 33.

Their opponents from Dungloe battled all the way, but Coláiste Ailigh were on top and managed to score three more in the second half, with Clodagh O'Connor adding a third goal five minutes in before further goals from Bláithín McKee and Caitlin Fletcher.
