Paddy McNulty has stepped down as manager of Cappry Rovers.
McNulty has vacated the Cappry Park hotseat after five seasons.
Jamie Doherty will assume control for the 2022/23 season having been ratified this week.
McNulty, as player-manager, led Cappry to Division 1 and Premier Division titles and they reached the Brian McCormick Cup final in 2020, losing 1-0 to Kildrum Tigers.
“I have had a great time and I would never change it for the world,” McNulty said.
“I don’t intend to leave the club, but I do want to apply most of my spare time now to development at the club, on and off the field, and bring the underage through as best as I can.”
McNulty was aided during his tenure by Sean ‘Wizard’ McGowan and Seamus Doherty and this year Bernard McGeehan joined the ticket.
McNulty said: “We are now an established Premier team, having been a yo-yo team for years, always up and down.
“Under our management in our first year in Premier we finished second, next year we finished mid-table, the third year we won it, and this year finished in the top four.”
