The date of the Donegal League Premier Division play-off has been changed.

Bonagee United and Kilmacrennan Celtic will now face off at The Diamond Park, Ballyare on Saturday-week, May 28, at 4.30pm.

The two sides were locked on points after the regulation league season and must now joust in a winner-takes-all clash.

The play-off will be preceded by the Voodoo Venue Cup final between Strand Rovers and Oldtown Celtic at 1pm, the Donegal Junior League confirmed to Donegal Live.

It will be the first play-off since Glenea United defeated Gweedore Celtic on penalties to land the 2011/12 title.

Bonagee United were held to a 1-1 draw at Kildrum Tigers on Sunday, a result that allowed Kilmacrennan Celtic, via a 4-0 win over Convoy Arsenal, to go level.
