Finn Harps new striker Robert Jones goes straight into the starting XI for tonight's clash at Shelbourne, kick-off 7:45pm.

Jones was most recently on the books of Clyde FC in Scotland. The towering 6ft 4in striker previously lined up with BSC Glasgow, East Fife, Albion Rovers, Stranraer and  Dumbarton.

Another Scot was signed by manager Ollie Horgan this week, with Harry Nicolson also in the squad at Tolka Park, although starting among the substitutes. The 21-year-old came through the academy ranks of Inverness Caledonian Thistle in Scotland with loan spells at Elgin City and Clachnacuddin.

Another new signing and defender, Eoin McGing, who last played with Sydney FC in the A-League is also a sub. McGing began his career with Sydney FC before spending two years with Wellington Phoenix. The Australian is a centre-half by trade and will look to bolster Harps’ backline for the second half of the campaign.

Harps have won just twice this term in 21 SSE Airtricity Premier Division clashes, both of which came against tonight's opponents.

Ryan Rainey, Dylan Duncan and Ethan Boyle return to the starting line-up following last Friday's 1-0 loss at home to Shamrock Rovers.
