The Ulster Schools’ team were not in the race for honours when the Interprovincials took place over the weekend at the AUL Complex, Dublin.


Ulster lost their opening games to Leinster and Munster before drawing their final game on Sunday against Connacht.


They lost out by 1-0 to Leinster on Friday and by 4-0 to eventual champions, Munster, on Saturday. On Sunday, they drew 1-1 with Connacht  thanks to an exceptional free kick from 

Ashling Mugan to the top corner 12 minutes from time. Mugan picked up the Player of the Match award in that game.


The full Ulster panel, which was made up mainly from Donegal schools and had an all-Donegal management panel, was:
