Surfers come together in Bundoran to form a cicle to remember Zara Witherow
The Bundoran surfing community paid their respects to the late Zara Witherow by forming a collective hug.
Ten-year-old Zara from Tawley, Castlegal, Co Leitrim, sadly passed away last month and her father Mark posted a photo from Bundoran. Cairns, Zara'a grandfather said: "This is an aerial view of the Bundoran surfing community's tribute to Zara. A very emotional occasion."
Zara’s parents, Mark and Gina Geagan Witherow are respected business people in Bundoran. Only last November, Zara herself had presented a cheque for €25,906 to Ronald McDonald House, which is attached to Crumlin Children's hospital in Dublin and where the family were given the dignity and respect that is so important at these most difficult times.
