US Ambassador Cronin and participants attended the event in Bundoran yesterday
Bundoran Community Centre had a visit yesterday from the US Ambassador to Ireland Claire D. Cronin, who came to see the Fund for Ireland’s life-changing work where she met some wonderful young people from communities across County Donegal.
These projects each support up to fifteen 16-25 year olds, at any one time, who are at risk, or are not currently in fulltime employment, education or training through a personal support programme called the PYDP (Personal Youth Development Programme).
This year the local Bundoran Community Centre were successful in its application for one of these projects, which started in April of this year, called the W.A.Y. Project.

To date, 11 young people have already engaged in this programme. Other projects who were present yesterday were the MYE Project, Milford and the CHANCE Project, Inishowen.
