Work will get underway on a glamping site on Teelin Road in Carrick as early as next week.

Planning permission has been granted for the site following a successful appeal to An Bord Pleanála, having been refused by Donegal Council Council in October of last year. Council planners initially refused the application saying the proposed site was too far from Carrick village, and wasn’t serviced by a footpath which would subsequently create a traffic hazard.
