The trailer that was stolen to transport the quads has been found but unfortunately the quads have been unloaded

Three brand new Suzuki King quads were suspected as stolen from Ballintra and although the bikes have still to be found, the trailer that was also taken turned up in a disused yard in Longford

The trailer used to steal quads from a Ballintra motorcycle dealership has been located in Longford - but there is no sign of the bikes as of yet.

Earlier this month, three brand new Suzuki King quads were reported as missing from Carron Quads - two red 500 non-power steering quads were taken, one of which had oversized Kenda Bear claw tyres on the back, as well as a green 750 with black bullbar on the front.

“The trailer stolen to transport the quads has been found at a disused premises in Longford town, unfortunately the quads had been unloaded,” Carron Quads posted online. “The quads were unloaded somewhere between Newtownforbes and Longford Town on Monday, December 11, possibly on the Strokestown Road.  

“ A suspected vehicle white Transit van with a large cattle trailer on behind went through Newtownforbes at 7:38am on Monday, December 11. Three brand new Suzuki King Quads were stolen from our property on Monday, December 11 between the hours of 1am and 7am. 

“We’ve CCTV of them on our property from approx 1 to 4am. There was a white transit van with a cattle trailer on behind it seen acting suspiciously between 5am and 6am. 

“If anyone saw anything or are in the area and have CCTV please call Michael on 0876811753 or Kathryn on 0873299721 or Ballyshannon Garda Station.”
