Vincent Breslin, an entrepreneur and software developer from Donegal Town, has announced the acquisition of Uplisting in a multi-million dollar deal.
The software company Uplisting was bought by private equity firm, AirDNA. Founded in 2017, Uplisting is a platform that provides property management to short term renters, describing themselves as an “all in one vacation rental software and channel management system.”
Uplisting is partenered with multiple platforms such as AirBnB, VRBO and Booking.com serving a centralised platform to find accommodation for short-term stays.
Vincent Breslin is the co founder of the company alongside Andy Shipman and Tadej Murovec. The company has been highly successful, in 2023, Uplisting generated almost €400 million in bookings, which was approximately €3 million in revenue.
The firm which acquired uplisting, AirDNA software business based in North America and it is a leading provider of data and analytics is the short term rental industry.
Although, co-founder Vincent Breslin, the son of Michael and Sian Breslin is no stranger to the corporate world. After teaching himself to code at the age of 13, he was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year by Enterprise Ireland.
Vincent has been involved in several business ventures prior to Uplisting. At an early age, he began developing Sian's Plan, a cooking platform. Subsequently, he was employed by HouseTrip, an AirBnB rival and in addition to this he also previously served a managing director of Keepmebooked.
