The Wave Pool in action at Waterworld
Bundoran’s Waterworld, one of the region's most popular indoor adventure playgrounds, will reopen for the 2024 season on Thursday March 28.
The opening will take in the Easter break and see the waterpark opening for 11 days with all the great features including the Whizzer, Twister and Gravity speed slides, the three lane multi slide, pirate’s galleon ship, toddler pool and of course the famous wave pool and rapids with hours of fun guaranteed for all the family.
The facility will be open for four x 2.15 hour slots each day and these may be booked from Monday 4th of March at 11am for the Easter period.
Chairperson of Bundoran Waterworld CLG Councillor Micheal McMahon is looking forward to seeing one of the town’s most popular tourism attractions reopened for 2024:
"Waterworld is a huge driver for the town in terms of attracting families and it’s great to have an opening date for it for this Easter. Preparations for this season have been ongoing since we closed last September – it really is an all-year-round operation.

"I’d like to commend the work of General Manager Aine Temple and her team in working tirelessly to ensure a timely opening on March 28th just in time for the Easter period."
General Manager Aine Temple added:
"We’re excited to welcome guests back to Waterworld for the 2024 season and as usual we are expecting the 11 days over Easter to be busy so we would absolutely recommend to everyone considering a visit to Waterworld during that time to book their slot as soon as they sure of their dates in order to avoid disappointment. Hats, goggles and other swim accessories can be purchased on site as well as a host of snacks and souvenirs in our Waterworld shop at the rear of the facility."
Bookings for Easter can be made on https://www.waterworldbundoran.com/booking/ from Monday March 4 at 11am.
