The man was questioned in relation to an incident in Ballyshannon
Gardaí in Ballyshannon arrested a male in his thirties in relation to a serious assault which occurred last year in the Ballyshannon area.
The male was arrested on suspicion of Assault Causing Harm on May 6, 2023, and was questioned by Detective Gardaí, after intensive investigation he was later released without charge. A file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí in Ballyshannon are appealing to anyone who may have information about this serious assault to contact the Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071 9858530, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800666111 or any Garda station.
