Anne Cassin from RTÉ's Nationwide was at the Donegal Railway Heritage Museum this week
The Donegal Railway Heritage Museum is set to feature on two television shows.
RTÉ's Nationwide were at the museum and the show will be screened later this year, as well as another on UTV, Mahon's Way - all on the year of Donegal Town’s 550th anniversary.
“Delighted to welcome Anne Cassin from RTE's Nationwide who are doing a piece about Donegal Town's 550 Anniversary,” the museum posted. “Remember that we are currently hosting the official 550 exhibitions in our Award Winning Museum.”
Their pop-up Donegal Town Museum exhibition tells the unique history of Donegal Town over the last 550 years. Earlier this summer, Joe Mahon, presenter of Mahon's Way, was also a visitor of manager Niall McCaughan and his team.
“We were delighted to welcome Joe Mahon and crew from UTV's Mahon's Way, whose film company Westway Film Productions is making a programme about Donegal Town's 550th Anniversary,” the museum posted. “Niall, who has known Joe for many years, had invited Joe and his team to make a programme about our historic town in its 550th year. The programme will be broadcast later in 2024.”
