Thomas Loughlin worked for An Post in Ballyshannon
Ballyshannon Business Chamber have paid tribute to local postman Thomas Loughlin, who is retiring.
"After 15 and a half years of service with An Post our local postman Thomas Loughlin has delivered his last letter! Sadly a bill!!)," they posted.
"A familiar face around town in the early years he started walking the town delivering post. Thomas then got a permanent run delivering in the countryside namely from town as far as Clyhore. Then with the changes within An Post last year, he was doing part town and part countryside. A familiar friendly face for many especially during the months of Covid, those chats will be missed by many on the route now! We wish Thomas every good wish to enjoy a happy and healthy retirement! Thanks for all you did! Best of luck from Ballyshannon Business Chamber."
