Ballyshannon library is reopening and there is extended hours for libraries in Donegal Town and Bundoran
Donegal County Council library service have confirmed the reopening of Ballyshannon library and an extension of the opening hours of Bundoran and Donegal Town libraries from the week beginning September 16.
The new opening hours are: Bundoran library will be open from 10am-2pm on Monday’s by appointment only. Donegal Town and Ballyshannon libraries will remain closed.
Bundoran and Donegal Town will be open on Tuesday and Thursday between 9:30am - 1pm and from 2pm-5:30pm.
On Wednesday’s and Friday’s Ballyshannon library will be open between 9:30am - 1pm and from 2pm-5:30pm.
Bundoran will be open from 12:30-5:30 pm and 6:30-8 pm on Wednesday. On Friday’s Bundoran will be open from 9:30am - 1pm and from 2pm-5:30pm. Bundoran will also be open on Saturday between 10am-2:30pm.
Patrons will be able to borrow books, use the computers and printer and learn all about the online resources that Donegal County Council have to offer, including eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines on BorrowBox and online learning platforms such as Transparent Language and Universal Class.
