With storm surge expected, the closures at the Donegal Town Pier carpark are based around the times of the high tides from today, Friday, through to Monday.

The car park is currently closed from 3pm to 6pm, with the high tide time of 4:55pm. Saturday's high tides at 7:27am means a closure from 6am to 9pm and then based around 7:50pm high tide, meaning closure from 6pm until 9:30pm.

Sunday's first high tide is 8:11am, followed by 8:39pm, which means the car park will be closed both from 6:30am to 9:30am and 7pm to 10pm respectively. Monday's high tide is at 8:57am so the care park will not be permitted for use between 7:30am and 10am.
