It has come to the attention of Uisce Éireann that the water supply in the Glenties and Ardara areas that are served by the Glenties Ardara Public Water Supply are at risk due to a deterioration in raw water quality, as a result of Storm Éowyn

Boil Water notice for customers supplied by Glenties-Ardara Public Water Supply

It has come to the attention of Uisce Éireann that the water supply in the Glenties and Ardara areas that are served by the Glenties Ardara Public Water Supply are at risk due to a deterioration in raw water quality, as a result of Storm Éowyn, which has impacted the water treatment process.

As a result, and following consultation with the Health Service Executive and Uisce Éireann are issuing a Boil Water Notice with immediate effect to protect the health of consumers.

This updated notice applies to approximately 3,576 customers in the following areas as outlined in the map shown overleaf.
All consumers affected by this notice must boil their water before drinking.
