Prayers were offered to Jenna Shovlin's family on Sunday evening following her passing in New York.

As part of the Lenten programme, there were devotions and rosary at St Conal’s Church Kilclooney in support of Frankie, Kathleen, Christopher and Keith Shovlin on the death of their daughter and sister Jenna.

“Devastating news arrived in the Parish, with the news of the sudden death of Jenna Shovlin of The Rock, Clogher West, Portnoo,” CLG Ard An Ratha posted. “Jenna was a beautiful girl who had made a new life for herself in New York, and was a person who made a lasting impression on whoever she met, with a smile that lit up every room she went into.

"The news of her passing has left a black cloud over our Parish once more. We offer our deepest condolences to Frankie, Kathleen, Christopher, Keith and the extended Shovlin and Furey families on Jenna’s death.”
