Mary McNelis is looking forward to celebrating her 100th birthday on St Patrick's Day.
The former proprietor of Ballyshannon’s Millstone Hotel, who lives in Cashelard, is originally from Ardara.
This weekend there will be a get-together of family and friends for Mary's birthday and on Sunday, she will be doing something she frequently does - tuning in to see the fortunes of the Donegal GAA team.

Donegal take on Tyrone in Division 1 of the Allianz League at O'Donnell Park in Letterkenny and Mary will be watching the match on television cheering on the side managed by Jim McGuinness.
Donegal currently sit with eight points from their five outings to date, having most recently defeated Derry at Fr Tierney Park in Ballyshannon.
