The largest cruise ship to visit the port of Killybegs has arrived. 

The MV Nieuw Statendam is over 299 metres long and can carry more than 2,600 guests and 1,000 crew members. Holland America Line operates the Pinnacle-class liner. 

“A warm Donegal welcome to the MV Nieuw Statendam — the largest cruise ship to ever visit our beautiful port of Killybegs,” Sweetnews Killybegs shared. “We hope all aboard enjoy the stunning views, rich culture, and warm hospitality our town has to offer.”

The cruise ship docked at 10am and is due to depart again at 6pm this evening.
