A Status Yellow snow and ice warning has been issued for Donegal, where further snow showers will lead to some accumulations, leading to travel disruption and difficult travelling conditions.
The warning will be in effect until 6am tomorrow.

Meanwhile, a separate Status Yellow low temperature and ice warning has been issued for the entire country and it will come into effect from 5pm this evening and remain until 11am tomorrow.
Difficult travelling conditions are expected. People are being urged to only travel if necessary and to ensure that the elderly and vulnerable are cared for. People are also asked to ensure that pets and animals are being cared for.
