Met Éireann have forecast a day with some sunny spells and drizzle for Wednesday.
Mainly dry to start with bright spells. Cloud will increase from the northwest this morning with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle soon following. Patchy rain and drizzle will spread southwards through the morning and afternoon. Some sunny intervals will develop between spells of light rain later in the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 8 to 12 degrees, coolest in the northeast with light to moderate west to northwest breezes.
Generally dry and cloudy tonight, although a few patches of light rain or drizzle will linger. Lowest temperatures of -1 to 6 degrees, coldest in the north where a touch of grass frost possible, with winds easing light and variable.
A cloudy and generally dry day tomorrow away from Ulster where patches of light rain will linger through the day. Outbreaks of light and patchy rain and drizzle will develop in the northwest spreading southeastwards in the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 or 14 degrees in a light to moderate west to northwest wind, increasing fresh at times.
