Today will start off cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle in Donegal. Brighter weather will develop in the west later this morning and will extend eastwards this afternoon and evening.
Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees with light to moderate southerly breezes.
Tonight, any lingering rain or drizzle in the east will clear and it will be become largely dry with clear spells. A few patches of mist or fog may develop. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees, coldest in the west with light variable breezes.
Friday morning will be mainly dry with some bright or sunny spells. Cloud will gradually increase from the west. Rain will develop on the west coast by early evening and will spread into western parts of Ulster, Connacht and Munster. Highest temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees, warmest in the east and northeast with moderate southerly winds.
