Today will bring a mix of sunshine and scattered showers, some heavy, with a chance of hail and isolated thunderstorms in Donegal, Met Éireann say.
Highest afternoon temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southwest to west winds, easing mostly light to moderate by evening.
There'll be further scattered showers tonight, but good long dry clear spells too. Frost and some icy patches will develop as temperatures fall to between -1 to +2 degrees in light to moderate southwest or variable breezes. A few isolated mist and fog patches may develop.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, will be dry and sunny for most. However, there'll still be a few well scattered showers, mainly in coastal parts. Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light southwest to west or variable breezes.
