The status yellow warning is in place from Friday, December 6, at 10am through till Saturday at 10am

A rain warning has been issued by Met Éireann for Donegal from Friday into Saturday, as Storm Darragh looms.

The status yellow rain warning is in place from Friday, December 6, at 10am through till Saturday at 10am in Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Clare, all of Connacht, Longford, Louth, Meath and Westmeath.

Heavy rain is on the menu for Friday, followed by heavy showers Saturday morning. Potential impacts include localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
