Donegal eventually were moved onto an orange weather warning for low-temperature on Thursday and no sooner had the cold snap cleared there was a warning of a different kind.
A Moderate Weather Warning for Fog alert message was issued from Met Éireann for Donegal this morning this morning.
Fog, particularly when dense, can be hazardous to drivers, mariners and aviators. The yellow warning says there will be foggy conditions that will lead to impaired visibility and the warning is in place from tonight till Sunday at 9am.
Some clear spells but patches of mist and fog will form widely and be dense in places, leading to impaired visibility tonight with lowest temperatures of 0 to +4 Celsius with frost in places. Mist and fog will clear on Sunday morning to leave a largely dry day.
