Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for snow and ice in Donegal on Wednesday and Thursday.
The snow-ice warning - which also applies to Cavan,Monaghan, Leitrim, Sligo - is for wintry showers of hail, sleet and snow, with some modest accumulations in places, especially on high ground.
The warning, which was issued on Tuesday afternoon, is valid from midnight on Tuesday until midday on Thursday.
