Routes across the county will be treated from 6pm
Donegal County Council gritters will be on the roads on Tuesday night with temperatures set to drop below freezing.
Met Éireann says it will be cold and mainly dry on Tuesday night with clear spells and isolated showers. There will be lowest temperatures of -1 to +2 degrees with frost and some ice patches developing.

The routes across the county will be treated from 6pm are 01: National Primary North, 02: National Primary Central, 03: National Primary South, 04: Inishowen South, 05: Inishowen East, 07: Milford South, 09: Cill Ulta East, 12: Binswilly, 13: Stranorlar North, 14: Stranorlar East, 15: Stranorlar West, 16: Donegal West, 17: Donegal North, 18: Donegal South, 19: Donegal National Secondary, and LT: Letterkenny Town.
Donegal County Council is warning motorists to assume that no road is ice free.
