Formerly Time & Tide, the café will reopen as Solas Na Mara on Saturday at 9am in Annagry
A coffee shop in west Donegal, which was previously forced to close, is reopening at a new location.
Formerly Time & Tide, the café will reopen as Solas Na Mara on Saturday at 9am in Annagry. The business is now located behind the old book shop, next to Allure and the Post Office.
“We’re delighted to be able to open Solas Na Mara as we know how much the community has missed having a cosy space to go for a cuppa and a bite to eat,” owner Deirdre Sharkey told DonegalLive. “We'll also have some new additions that we'll keep as a surprise until people come in and see.”

Solas Na Mara will be serving New Kid Coffee, toasties, soup, baked goods, and gluten-free options. Although the coffee shop has changed name and location, the owners and staff will remain the same.
The previous premises, located beside Sharkey’s Bar, was forced to close at the beginning of the year because the building was deemed unsafe.
