Wet and windy to begin with in Donegal on Tuesday, with outbreaks of rain, heavy at times.
Some transient wintry falls are possible about higher ground during the morning. Heavy rain this morning will gradually clear northwards with heavy or prolonged showers following. Fresh to strong, gusty winds with gales near coasts, later becoming west to south-west. Highest temperatures of 5 to 9 degrees.

Early tonight, rain will continue in Donegal but will clear northwards. Clear spells and showers overnight, mainly over the western half of the country. Fresh to strong south to south-west winds will become southerly and ease. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees.
Wednesday will bring bright ro sunny spells with some showers, these most frequent in the south and west. There'll be a fair amount of dry weather. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh south-easterly winds.
