A Yellow Weather Warning for fog has been issued for Donegal, with dense fog expected to develop across the county from Sunday night.
Met Éireann has warned that areas of dense fog could lead to poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
The warning comes into effect at 9pm on Sunday, November 8, and remains in place until 11am on Monday, November 9.
Donegal is among several counties covered by the alert, which also includes Connacht, Cavan, Longford, Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Westmeath.
Motorists are being advised to take extra care on the roads, reduce their speed and allow additional time for journeys due to the risk of reduced visibility.
